EPROM emulator SHOEMU2 version 2.
Jumpers are no longer necessary with this EPROM emulator. All configurations are set using serial commands.
EPROMs from 2716 to 27512 can be set. 2708 (1KB) is also possible with a special adapter.
The download time for max. 64KB is about 8 seconds. An additional Verify is 8 seconds.
Power is supplied via the USB port. Certain parts of the circuit can also be external to the target system
are supplied. (see circuit and switch S1). A RESET generation for RST and / RST is integrated and can be accessed via
the software will be activated.
There is also the option of simulating SRAM 1KB to 64KB. Is currently only being prepared and will not yet
supported by the software. The possibility is then in the current. of the year to come. A hardware change
is not necessary. The corresponding ICs (U17, U18) are already equipped.
A bootloader is integrated in the microcontroller, which enables a software update of the firmware of the SHOEMU2.
A RESET takes place via USB (DTR). (see circuit diagram) Bootloader for the microcontroller is now available.
The expansion in the WIN software will be integrated in December 2020 .
It is possible to use 2 x 64KB as simulation RAM. So you can load two different images into the SRAM
and switch with a corresponding command.
A housing can be printed out for the SHOEMU2 using a 3D printer. The data is provided free of charge.
Attention!:
After a lot of customer feedback with connect problems to the COM port.
After connecting the EMU2 to the USB port, select the COM interfaces in the window software.
Press the "Reset EMU2" button. Then press the "Test EMU2 Con" button.
The following message should appear: (Depending on what firmware is installed)

The first test version (Beta 0.1) is now available. All functions are not yet integrated.
RAM emulator and bootloader will follow in December 2020.
Beta 0.2: Log File Integriert ( for all Memory Images ),
Bug Fix: Reset time was saved incorrectly. is ok now.
Switch Memory integriert. Both memory areas can be selected with "Send EMU2"
be switched. However, there should also be a program in the EMU2 for both memory areas beforehand
Loading. A reset time can be set with, without a reset of 50ms is always activated.
Beta 0.3: Reset time now from 1ms to 500ms. Only works with firmware from December 18, 2020.
Beta 0.4: Download Error at 65536 Bytes and Verify Error. (use the latest firmware from 01/21/2021)
