Adapter board with the ML2871 (MIDI / ADPCM sound controller)
The following components are included on the adapter board.

ML2871 sound controller
1 x
crystal oscillator 12.28800 MHz (VCC: + 3.3V max.) Can be activated via a solder bridge.
The MIDI clock can also be used by an external microcontroller.
The board comes with 2 x 14pin. Pin headers supplied and fit in a DIL28 socket.
The adapter board is 36mm x 18mm.
A demo software is supplied with the board, which will be sent via EMAIL after a successful purchase.
The demo software is written in the programming language 'C'. Currently optimized for the ATmega168 and ATmega328.
The software can be easily adapted to other MCUs.
The ML2871 has an integrated amplifier, to which a 1W / 8Ohm loudspeaker can be connected.
But there is also the possibility to extend the analog output with an external amplifier.
The sound controller understands SMF0 MIDI files. A MIDI converter software from SMF1 / 2 to SMF0 is provided.
